I'm not great at ninja either - I do have a separate tab for the hit counter page so I don't have to navigate to it all the time.

I just count very carefully and check for the changes when it updates at 10, 20 . . . minutes past the hour.

But now it’s all visible I don’t tend to bother much any more.

When attempting to be an addict ninja I Fetch less and check every 10 minutes using refresh on the page to get to my number.

My tactics for catching a certain page (I may have shared this before):

>Have Fetch open in three separate tabs in a brower on a laptop or PC
>One tab for hit counter, another for this page, and one for a thread
>Select the first page of the thread and then use the page numbers of the thread to do the counting for you, to get within range of your target; just click through the pages of the thread, in order
>wait 11 minutes
>refresh the hit counter page
>if still a way off, repeat step (3)
>if close enough to count the remainder confidently, load X numbers of the thread page, remembering to stop one less than the target number of hits
>wait 11 minutes
>refresh the hit counter page - you should see your target number.
>copy/paste onto this thread :-)
