I'm not sure what is meant by 'grizzle' in this context. I'd assume it means 'to cry fretfully like a small child' but synonyms are 'sulk, grumble, bleat'. Yes, if played any Joan Baez, 'sulk, grumble and bleat' would describe my reaction too.
