Oh no! That's terrible, Gobi. Mr Ness and I were in a bar last night having a cocktail and they had Sky News on. It's the first time we had seen any news since we've been on Tenerife. They were doing a piece about theatres in the UK and showed footage of people in the Birmingham Hippodrome. It looked very crowded.

Here, there's a 50 % capacity restriction on bars and restaurants and you have to show your Covid pass before they'll serve you. It feels much safer than home tbh.

I hope you can get a refund but I suspect that that won't happen. Sorry you had such a disappointing night. :(

No Wham, no Covid here... Because, well, I never go anywhere, I prefer plants over people 🤪🤣😎
In all seriousness: I had it before it became a "thing" and therefore have good acquired immunity as well as a good innate immune system.
On top of which, I rarely engage in "risky" activities...
Still not heard it as a result!

At least you're getting you're money back, Gobi. That's good news.

GOOGLE SHEET HERE:

Sheet for 2024 is on the first tab; you update your own entry. As with previous years, we're also tracking the number of repeated 'hits' for those who are out before the end (if you want to).

Who's up for the challenge then? whamageddon.com

"The 1st Rule
The objective is to go as long as possible without hearing WHAM's Christmas classic; "Last Christmas".

The 2nd Rule
The game starts on December 1st, and finishes at the end of December 24th.
Use your local timezone, if you'd like.

The 3rd Rule
Only the original version applies.

The 4th Rule
You're out as soon as you recognise the song.

Player vs Player?
While we can't stop you from deliberately sending your friends to Whamhalla, the intention is that this is a survival game. Not a Battle Royale. So ... don't be a dick, okay?"
