JulesR Sep 2022 6:13am, 15 Sep 2022 28,310 posts	0 JulesR The ONE WORLD League is happy to announce the beginning of registrations for our fifth VOTE CHESS season! Divisions will have clubs playing in subdivisions of seven (or eight) clubs. Clubs will play in a single round robin format. Games will start all two weeks from October 23 to January 15. Rules for promotion and relegation will be posted at the end of registrations (after the number of divisions and subdivisions will be known). Sonneborn-Berger will be tiebreaker. Already participating clubs are asked to confirm their participation. All other clubs can register in this forum. Registration will close on October 16. Pairings for round 1 are scheduled to be posted on October 21. The placements are still provisional and will be reviewed by the end of registrations (there're still a few ongoing games). Do we wish to enter a Fetch Everyone Chess team in the league?

They have one 2000-rated player who rarely plays in their daily matches, but plenty rated 1600-1850. We’re playing black so we’ve got 3 days til we move.

They have 300+ members with a couple of 2300-rated NMs, one whom definitely plays in their vc matches. In round 1 they had 23 members & played the dodgy Scandinavian as black;) Match starts 6th November.
