Just to add a note of reality, at last years fetchpoint we had several bottles of bubbles which just got hotter and hotter to the extent that when I went to open one bottle, it needed no help from me when the wire was off the cork - it flew off to bounce off mykey's face into the crowd of runners, managing to hit one on the way through. Don't know what the poor bugger made of it! But anyhoos, the chance of getting something cold, let alone icecold, to drink is minimal! And also, bear this in mind if you require chocolate at fetchpoint - last year's was just a molten mess!

I think if I was given booze or chocolate I would probably throw up - oranges and a hug from Sarahwoo last year was exactly what I needed

I expect my rosé to be cold.
Keeping drinks cold has never been an issue, plan appropriately, we have had years at VLM (FLM) where I managed to keep ice lollies frozen for when our runners came through.
Kwala will make it happen, I know that.

I'm sure if we wanted a full picnic complete with strawberries and chilled champagne then fetch point would make it happen! I'm easy though. Just a flat full fat coke pleases me.

We'll certainly do our best. Can't remember which year but one of our runners had requested 2 varieties of drink, cubed cheddar, mars bar chunks, jaffa cakes, a banana and a gel waiting for them "depending on how I feel at the time".
When they arrived they were feeling a bit dicky in the tum and just had one of the drinks. Still got a hug and a cheer and all the encouragement we could give them.
