Thanks, runners for all your positive words about how fetchpoint lifted you. It gave us a massive lift too, each time someone waved/showboated/pointed/shouted at us.
The supporters were awesome this year, as they always are. We have some people that turn up year after year, some who pop in and out depending on life and running, some who stay the entire day and some who give us the time that they can spare. We really do  you all.

A big belated thank-you from me too, trying to get caught up with everyone's results/posts/blogs here takes a lot longer than it does to run the race!
I loved the encouragement both directions, although I think I was really only properly capable of seeing faces on the first pass at 13m. It was all a bit blurred at 22m!
And an admission/apology - on the second pass at 22m, I remember giving a wave, maybe a fist-pump, and then a thumbs-down. I really hope no-one took that as a reflection of Fetchpoint (I realised later). See - me and OH have a Roman Coliseum-style thumb-signal agreement about how my race is going (since speech just isn't going to work by that point). I was missing my A goal so thumb was veering downward for her information.
(and then later she explained that she had got caught up in crowds and never made it to Fetchpoint at all, so I was hand-signalling to nobody in particular anyway :-o)

I think we saw, understood and felt for you Paul....
The downside of being on Fetchpoint is seeing folks not happy and being unable to fix it!

I still remember bursting into tears on SarahWoo and when she asked what I wanted I said I wanted to go home!

Sorry to be a bit late posting in here, drove home yesterday and felt really rough, couldn't summon the energy to post😶😮 You lot were truely amazing on Sunday, it was so uplifting and I'm sure helped me to a massive PB 😀Thanks for the gel Min, decided to take it as I was flagging!
I hope that I can return the support next year ...unless my "never again" becomes a maybe...well okay then😮
