Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I'm a bit disappointed the biblical reference didn't make it through.

But I'm sure I'll get over it :)

Annoyingly, we have 17 through to round 2. Which means there is just one game and 15 byes. Suggest I do this as a flash round and close it in an hour or so.

Yep - for the record, the top seeds after the group stage were:

1. Top Trumps, a card game series

2. "Nellie the Elephant", a children's song written in 1956 by Ralph Butler and Peter Hart about a fictional anthropomorphic elephant of that name

3. HMS Trump (P333), a British submarine, 1944–1969

4. Trump, an act of flatulence

Being as I am mainly in China and about to sleep immediately before returning home at 4am (local) tomorrow I was about to argue against a flash round, but I see I'm already too late.

What happened to round 2?

There's only one game in R2 because of Byes (17 made it out of the group) - so I pult the last seven games of round 3 up. The remaining game will go off when I close R2G1, hopefully in a minute.
