TROSaracen explained there are other marathons, they are the same length, run for time.... A 6hr marathon is more impressive to people than a 16min 5k They are not even that hard to do. Oh, another 3.5hrs 4500ft but only 4x Miles. Stopped at 6000ft due to snow closing road today  Hello |

I bet you are more prepared than I was when I did my first...I hadn;t even swum 400m continuously (and certainly didn't on the day either). My transition cock up still makes me smile today, and so does the fact I thought it was absolutely brilliant!

Although our own TRO trying to put a wetsuit on while sitting in the driver's seat of his car was spectacular - as was my attempt just a few feet away to put a wetsuit on in a downpour. If you've never tried putting on a wetsuit while your skin's wet, save yourself some misery and just don't. |
