Took me nearly a year to get to this stage, where the job is great but still to be ratified (in that I need to pass this training course if I want to stay). I lost count of the number of interview invitations I didn’t get. Definitely should’ve worked harder at school. It’s just that, back then you didn’t have to be a graduate just to get a job in the stores department. I blame successive governments (for most things, as it goes )
