I have a dedicated PC and monitor in the garage with wired internet for Zwift and Zoom shred. We are a nerd household so only the extra cabling wasn't lying around anyway! Although I might have bought the USB Bluetooth dongle...

Sorry for late update. In summary it rained like a bastard, all day. I gave it a lash, trying for 7min miles but it was hard going. The savage hills miles 6-8 did for me really and couldn’t pick it up. All in all a tough day out, first running race since 2019 so some rustiness expected. Amazing how quick some of the fell runners can go on steep downhills. One down was so steep it had a escape run off from the road with a huge pile of tyres, in case you felt your car was out of control you could ditch it there rather than pile into the town at the bottom of he valley. Time was 1:35, 7:19/mile which netted 4th AG and 53rd overall. 4 hour drive home, it rained for every second of it. I suffered, and had fun. |
