Nice! Good luck Rae.
80 min on treadmill at 12.1km/hr. 16km on machine. 14.8km on watch. HR 135 sub 75% HR. Pleased with that. Approx 25 degrees but under the air vent.

OK, hands up who's been punched at work?
anyone?....
Last time I was punched at work (I think) was 1991. We were "milling"* prior to bayonet training and it was kind of expected. Probably more importantly, I was expected to punch back.
Today I was punched 3 times by a lucky** 10-year old having a meltdown, so hard that I'm still awake at 3 in the morning trying to get my head round it.
I fucking hate the 21st Century
* milling - Old Skool British Army warm-up routine for a lot of things. Involves fighting with bare fists. Probably banned these days.
** because I'm soft and old and my reflex reactions are better controlled these days...
I should probably think myself fortunate the wee bastard wasn't carrying a knife.

I got punched in the face by a mad old drunk when I was working behind the bar back in Aberystwyth.
Unfortunately the mad old drunk was also the manager of the pub, so the only option for me was to quit.
Fortunately for me she doesn't throw a very good punch.

As a bespectacled accountant you’ll not be surprised that I’m not in the ‘had a punch up at work’ club. I may have had a 1hr 10 minute lunch break at some point before any of you start thinking my working life is/was dull….
1 hr masters swim done. The extra 15 mins is murderous, hovering in that twilight zone between life and death….

I've had stones thrown at me as an Ed Welfare Officer and my TA had a pair if scissors held to his throat by a Y8 boy when I taught. No actual punches as far as I recall, though.
