LOL Gobi,
No swimming allowed up here and when it does resume it will feel like I'm starting from scratch.
Two Zwift rides yesterday both at zone 2 the second was a 90 minute trip up the Alp and what did I get for my effort, a pair of gloves!

I'm amazed to hear that strava is "not yet profitable". I was also surprised to read that they employ 180 people. Makes the output of Lord Fetch look pretty bloody impressive.

I fear strava has missed the boat. Thousands of users who were on the free service may well have started paying to keep the segment/KOM stuff but I suspect such has been the growth of Zwift that most will now let strava lapse as they get their competitive jollies online*.
*And for some it’s easier to cheat on Zwift.....

TRO - Especially now strava shows elapsed time, lol.
TBH the 'competitive' side of strava put me off joining for ages as that's not what training is about for me. I like the ease of seeing what friends are doing though. Would love a race filter though.
Fetch is what I use to actually training though so can't see myself paying for strava.
Maybe Fetch can buy them out

I've never paid for strava or really bothered about the segments. Although it's occasionally nice to see me beat my time at one, I never set out with that purpose. Only really on it so that I can see what other people are up to and share routes etc with non Fetchies.
I've started naming all my Project Joker runs on there as Fetch Everyone Project Joker in the hope that might persuade some others to come over to the light side.

Haha!
I registered for strava when they partnered with parkrun because I had to make some sort of group or route for Valentines then never used it again...until this week when a club mate suspiciously knocked a minute off his 5k virtual handicap time so I stalked him to check his elapsed time.
It checked out. He was probably sandbagging in the earlier weeks :-D
