Stewart - feel better I have to ride B(up to 4watts a KG) and may have to move to A in a few weeks where all I do is get dropped by the 10 watts a KG brigade off the line and then ride round catching people but no chance of being competitive

Ha ha! I know you do but if you want advice - buy those wheels and bike - you should have the drops and then you'll explore your potential in other rides especially climbs.

Level 37 Do a lot of zwifting but it's 90% my own custom workouts.
Going to start doing 2 TT's a week as I think that will help get mojo and numbers back. Basically looking at power numbers and time for the course over time.
Rather sadly went in today and upped my weight to its current bloaterous level, as I deserve to suffer for the gluttony but also this is ground zero and I want to see progression in weight and power.
I will also select a course of about 25 miles to do some hour long sessions racing my previous times/powers.
I really don't like the group races and the blaggers; if I race I quite like letting everyone go and then spend the race working through the field - for some reason that keeps me more engaged. It's quite nice to catch a little group, ride with them for a while then go off the front and see if the group splinters itself hanging on.

Going to have a bash at the women's tour race thing this evening, for something different to do. Worst that can happen is I pootle round at the back - it could be quite realistic! Half way up the dizzy heights of level 7...
