13.1 sloggy hilly 50% off roady miles in 1:46. Tiny local race, 2nd o/a of 20 odd. Another 70 or 80 were doing full maras on the same course.

Afternoon multisports heroes. It's very encouraging to hear what you've all been up to, and it's a beautiful sunny day here which ought really to have me chomping at the bit to get out and show off my new Captain Marvel running top... But instead I am procrastinating by minutely examining my WSW grid to work out the optimum route around the woods. Which I'll almost certainly forget or fail to follow once I'm out there, but hey ho.
If someone could just give me a firm prod with their foot in the general gluteal vicinity t'would be much appreciated.

I'm at the Birmingham Symphony hall listening to the music of John William's. A very enjoyable evening.
There was of course cycling first and then dinner.

Wasn’t Williams the Jaws music bloke?
I went out for a club social ride this morning. I’d logged approximately 100m when my spoke went twang, wheel went too out of true to even spin with brakes at widest.
Trudged home and zwatted for 2.5 hrs....
