I've got an EC130E that I rate highly. The prices can fluctuate and I've head bad things about customer service. But they are cheap. Has anyone seen the cermacspeed direct drive? I mean, you can't change gear, but who needs to? |

Speaking as an engineer's husband, that looks amazing. As a biker, I’d be suspicious...no shaft drives at the TT, in MotoGP or at any of the SuperBike series. Just saying.

Meanwhile, am I the only one that thinks it a shame that PlanetX haven’t devised a cool nickname for their EC130e. Typhoon, Sparrowhawk, Eagle (perhaps not, remember Eagle bikes made Apollos seem light).

Ankh, how does 'direct drive' work on the BMW motorcycle then? I thought that was a driveshaft of some description?
