Yes - we came back over a local stream the banks of which were probably a centimetre deep in, for want of a more scientific phrase, thistledown.

Tri Farm is fairly exposed - it's a pit in a field with some aftermarket trimmings - so it's still blissfully clear. I shall go there tomorrow evening, with the blessing.

Here on the north east coast we have sea fret. I could have done with lights on my bike this morning, not to mention an extra layer on me. Nominal brick done.

One day I will have a nice sunny cycle on my road bike...
