Why don't you get slaughtered down the pub prior to the Chelmer AGM, it'll pass much quicker...

I'll explain the Golder thing when I get to a big keyboard - suspect the PoD and TRO will have an opinion. It regards the calculation of the Chelmer BAR.

Okay. Golder's motion in full ------
Proposal 1
From John Golder Change both the men’s & ladies BAR to 10, 25, 50 & 100mile events
They currently mirror the National BBAR (men 50, 100 & 12hr – woman 25, 50 & 100)
Although in the past we have had 8 riders riding a 12hr, this is unusual and I believe that the BAR should be more representative of the membership, this year only 2 members rode a 12hr, had it been on the proposed format, then at least there would have been 5 competing.
-------
It was rejected almost unanimously.

Somebody will have to explain to me why that's controversial.
Unseasonably warm bike commute this morning. I'll have to dry my shirt on a standard class passenger.

Ou club BAR is fastest 3 10's, fastest 2 25's - must be B or E courses, and it's the average pace (ie add the 5 times to get a time for the total 80 miles, then calc mph).
I would have gone with Goldermort. Can never see why 'all rounder' does not have the short distances in it.
