Precisely because a good cooked breakfast on holiday is a real treat - really fresh eggs, maybe poached maybe scrambled, good mushrooms, toast and marmalade on the side. But then really good fish and chips at the seaside watching the sunset is the biz too. And dire versions of the same, greasy, endless, tasteless, blocking your tastebuds and your arteries - put me right off. I’m not even sure where my final vote now lies
