Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Nice one golfpag!

I think I've just mentally reset my goal to 'more than last year', which gives me about 6 hours to fit in before Jan 1. That's definitely doable and doesn't risk me being selfish with my time.

With a bit of good weather for a bike/run over the Christmas holidays, I might still sneak in there ;-)

That's the spirit Scribs.

Right, I did 2:45 today! 1:30 to and from work 9 miles, 45 min pilates class, plus and impromptu mini triathlon challenge at our gym. Which I won! Aha, the benefits of this multi-discipline training! So 4:04:44. I quite like that! :-)G

Nice one :-)Gmeister. I missed 300 by minutes (minutes!) last year, going for it this year, even though (ahem) that wasn't my target.

Morning folks. I've been a bit slack on the posting front in here recently. Sorry.

Just checked and I'm on 299 hours for the year, which is good. I'm also on track for another month of over an hour per day, which is even better.

I'm thinking I'll give this a proper crack next year with a 365 hour target.

Well done, everyone.

That's the thing - you can set a target for a month or a per day target or whatever. Tis all good. Well done Nellers and Dv too. :-)G

I'm now only 3.5 hours away from 'more than I did last year' and a 10k on Saturday will eat into that quite nicely :-)

About This Thread

Maintained by Legless
thread for those feeling left out by all the "???? miles in 2012" threads etc Let's track Hours instead of Miles!

The only rule is .............WHATEVER YOU CLASS AS 'TRAINING' COUNTS AS TRAINING.

To get your name in lights here on the thread header, please join the group, then keep a note of your target and progress in there. I'll copy it in here periodically!

Hour targets...
Target . Oct......Nov.....Dec

200 . . 167.2 . .183.6 . .200

300 . . 250.8 . .275.4 . .300

333 . . 278.4 . .305.7 . .333

344 . . 287.6 . .315.8 . .344

350 . . 292.6 . .321.3 . .350

365 . . 305.1 . .335.1 . .365

400 . . 334.4 . .367.2 . .400

450 . . 376.2 . .413.1 . .450

500 . . 418.0 . .459.0 . .500

600 . . 501.6 . .550.8 . .600

700 . . 585.2 . .642.6 . .700
1050 . . 877.8 . .963.9 . .1050

Remember, you can set your own target. Doesn't have to be 365 hours. Doesn't even have to be annual. Could be, "I will do 20 hours training in March." or "I will average 3 hours a week for the next 3 months." or "I will do 150 hours for the rest of the year." or whatever. You decide it, plan it, state it, then let's all go do it!!
