Despite everything I,ve ever said I,m now listening to Carlton but on a very low volume. Frankly I tried the LA apologists yesterday and nearly threw something at the TV. They couldn't spot who was who and it got to me at one stage. I shall probably have to mute the sound for the last 10k mind.

That was one hell of a stage. Whoever put that little climb in the 12km to go was a genius.

It was like one of those action films with the hero sprinting away from an explosion.

Only he was in such a big gear it looked like he might stop and topple over at any moment!
Garmin to go for it in the TTT and get Millar into yellow?

Nice to see Froome have a little kick on the hill, he's obviously in form. Great finish, and sounded like Chavanel helped slow the bunch up a bit at the end.

Thought Carlton was about to bust a gut as Froomey went on the charge so muted the volume then. What will he be like at the Alps or Semnoz if something similar happens then. Hope they have a crash cart ready lol

What channel are people watching? I'm watching ITV4. Seems Ok. Dodgy moment at 5K when that dog went walkies. Only sheer luck prevented carnage.
