I have no DOMS at all and I'm considering going down for tonight's club night - a choice of 6 x 800m or a nice wee dose of fartleks. It would be a mistake, right?

(I think I read on an earlier post that someone had compression ice socks for recovery? A guy in the massage tent recommended them to me but after a google I can't find them. Does someone have these?)

I put on my regular compression socks after all but the first lap - definitely think they help. Not heard of iced ones though. I am going to the club tonight as we are promised a nice easy run as our coach is on hols this week!

I thought I'd seen some cold compression socks in Run and Become the last time I was in Edinburgh but I can't find them on their website.

People are arriving earlier and earlier for the camping. the first year we took part (2010) we put up the tent on Friday and there was virtually nobody around - most people didnt arrive until late Friday or Saturday. I think moving the start from 2 to 12 is why a lot more people now arrive Friday. I can definitely recommend Camp Area B as a good place to camp - quieter and you can see runners at several points without having to stray far from the tent - and no generator noise - thankfully even the band from across the road noise was diminished a bit.
