So on lejog Carla was averaging 60-70 miles a day on the road with a full crew. Alex is looking at 50 miles a day with some big lumps and rough terrain thrown in, unsupported over a marginally shorter time frame (9 days v 12) with all the issues that Gus points to above. It's going to be an interesting watch! No diving in the van for a power nap for him!

So, what's happened to our 3 peaks chap, supposed to be starting today ?

8:15am and his tracker's still in Glen Nevis....................................maybe one last coffee in the hostel before he sets off ??
