Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

I once contemplated coming out for a race in a dress that might be termed fancy.

I don't know how many of you are tracking Paul on his way round the 2500s - not many it seems - but he is properly nailing it and around 3 hours up on schedule, owd Joss met him in Wasdale and gave him a bit of a pep talk it seems :-) He had tracker problems for a while but it's back up now and he's currently on Kirk Fell enroute Gable before a hard turn to the NW and Haystacks enr High Crag/High Stile. Definitely looking for a sub-48 finish!!

Harking back to a few pages ago, I've just noticed that the usual slippy staircase of Ingleborough has been closed for a few months, from the summit path to Humphrey's Bottom, while they repair it.

Official diversion is to follow the edge NE 500m and then follow the wall down Souther Scales. The NE's route should still be OK as it comes out under the closure.

I'd been hoping for a run around the 3 Peaks this weekend, but attempting, and failing, to fly headfirst down a descent on Thursday killed the plan (and nearly me).

I don't think you're missing much mate, never been a fan of the Three Peaks taken as a collective group.
