Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I have a severe love/hate relationship with pork pies (often prompted by overthinking what the jelly actually is).

Pastry on that one looks ace - the filling seems a bit dry but might just be the photo :)

Pie Mk 1 was dry as bones! I added a whole load of guanciale to this one and it was a lot better. šŸ˜ƒ

Nice pie!

Mr JK and I enjoyed an excellent curry last night in celebration of our 48th Valentine's Day together. (Not really, just a meal out as we're away from home and didn't fancy the Toby Inn next to our Purple Room.) Not totally sure what the meat was in mine - it was called 'mutton' in one part of the menu but 'goat' in another. Whatever it was, it was delicious and gloriously tender.

In India mutton and goat are pretty much interchangeable Iā€™m led to believe

Now that looks like a feast fit for kings (and Queens!), perfect Valentine's day meal provided it didn't cause a flatulent storm!

Mutton and goat are pretty much interchangeable in Jamaican food too. šŸ˜ƒ

Order lamb in Greece and you may end up with goat. No real difference in most dishes

I tried a goat curry wrap in London years ago - it was great!

That food looks amazing.

Am not a fan of pork pies and the like but that pie looks really well made RiceandPeas - the jerk one I think would interest me more. :)

Pasta Bolognese. Home made.

I appreciate sweetcorn may be contentious, and I have added some roasted veggies since taking pic but they were frozen and smell nice but don't look appealing.
