We had an awful experience with our old cat and a multi feeder where the top came off and all the food rotted so I wouldn’t trust them for more than a day or so

Longer and I get someone to come in once a day, for company, wet food and litter tray cleaning. Friends have told me hilarious stories about their cats and automatic feeders! Best one: 2 Siamese working together: they found out that if one jumped on top of the thing and the other then swiped the lid with a paw, it would move to the next bowl! My friend actually rigged up a GoPro to find out how they did it!
