I'm not even sure any of our volunteer scanners would think or know to scan elsewhere on a cat for a chip to be honest. Hope it doesn't cause any issues Sally.
idle_wilder Feb 2021 10:03pm, 26 Feb 2021 2,886 posts	Quote Pin idle_wilder When I was with the SSPCA, I would always scan a cat/dog/rabbit/ferret all over the body, as the chip can move over time. Most vets will scan for a chip during health checks as well - I usually ask to make sure they do.
