He started dribbling last week and he was in for his boosters so they checked it out and the found the lump. It has already grown since then and although they removed what they could the vet suspects it will be quite aggressive and will stop him eating pretty soon. He's older than both my girls, they've never known the house without him, I think that's what I'm finding hardest.
sallykate Feb 2021 10:52pm, 24 Feb 2021 7,666 posts	0 sallykate Our cats were 15 months old when I had my daughter, so their demise was very hard for her (and for us as they were the first cats we'd had as adults and as a couple). Your girls will be OK - understandably distressed and upset at first but I think in some ways it's a life lesson.
