Hamsterboy was great - he was my 'Tuesday's Child' back in 2014, when I did a Week of Fetchies, who all had to be Fetchies I didn't know irl.

Here's how I concluded a l-o-n-g blog about him

'If I had a son I would like someone like Hamsterbolt, if I was a U21 I'd want him as a mate and if I was a teenage girl yeah I probably would, especially after all that re-hab conditioning he's been doing.

here he is looking strong on his XC return Oct 13.'



So glad to hear he's alive and well and 'doing something sporty'

And here's another bit of that blog....

And - this is pretty rare in an eighteen year old - he doesn't take himself tooooo seriously. There are many ways of being full of grace, not being a pompous arse is one of them. Oh he takes running seriously alright - he is passionate and committed, but that doesn't mean he's above running the Great Northern in an elephant costume. or storming his second 5k of the day in a seashell bikini. As well as many names he's a man of many, er, fancy dress costumes….
