If the lockdown hair do isn't enough to keep people away then the t-shirt says it all! Really nice shirt. 9 hilly miles done... now for some marking! It is all very well starting year 11 on A'level work because they haven't got exams, but it does generate a lot of extra marking!

Great stuff Evangel, consistent effort pays off! Heck, the half year seems to have gone so quickly in some ways.
Brilliantly modelled t shirts FF and Mrsb.

A hilly 10 miles this morning, my longest in a long time. Was rather chilly with a horrible wind. Was good to get out.

I didn't order a shirt, folk around here are pissed off with runners so wouldn't want to wear it 😉. I have been sworn at on more than one occasion when passing folk (as carefully as I can).

Oh that is sad Lesley :-(

I've been quite surprised by the fact that people don't thank me for getting out of their way (in fact I tend to thank them for allowing me the opportunity to jump into the road to allow them to walk two abrest on the narrow pavement), but haven't been sworn at yet!

Thanks FF, you are quite right, recovery days are essential. There will be no stopping you now with new t shirt and trainers.

Well done RFJ, your 5k's are still much faster than mine!

Evangel, it's really good that you have now been 15 months injury free, and I hope you continue climbing the leader board.

MrsB, you are really looking the part, with new t shirt and snazzy shades!

Lesley C, well done for your 10 miler. Will you be running with a baby buggy at all in the future? I haven't ordered a t shirt either, and I don't run in my club vest. I've noticed the same as MrsB that people no longer thank us for stepping onto the road, to avoid them walking hand in hand in the middle of the pavements. They are taking us for granted. I saw a good post on facebook advising to say "you're welcome," in a loud voice to those that don't say thank you. I haven't been sworn at, but I think I posted a couple of weeks ago saying that white van man had thrown a tin can at me.

Conditions were perfect for this mornings run, sunny, but with a gentle breeze. I ran 8.1 miles in the forest at a very gentle jog, really enjoying the experience, and not concerned about my pace.

Thanks HS, I am planning to run with a buggy. I need to buy one first and perhaps wait till he's a little bigger, he is old enough for it but is really small. Will see, it's not easy trying to buy anything at the moment that I would like to look at first.

It was good to do a longer one, hope the legs aren't too sore tomorrow.
