Curly - have you chosen accommodation or specific areas? There's info in the Peak District forum here : fetcheveryone.com/viewtopic.php?id=59960 And plenty of very knowledgeable and local fetchies ... My walks have been about half your limit, ie 10 to 15 miles, I can share routes if interested. Mostly within a short distance of Hathersage (because that's where I stayed), but also did Monsal Trail (interesting for the scenery & tunnels, but aybe better to run or cycle), and a short Dovedale to Mildale walk (on the recommendation of Fetch himself) on a weekend trip. |

Hilly is the key requirement. Ideally around 800m each day. More if possible. Not fussed on scenery type, places etc. Just within reach of a train station. |

Edale would be an obvious base I’d have thought. Maybe consider a skyline route with an overnighter in or around Hope?

A few 'what I have done' ... all can be adjusted for more or less hills or distance. I would do them all again. Kinder ramble/loop : fetcheveryone.com/routes-view.php?id=1793340 Stanage Edge (add a mile each way from the station) : fetcheveryone.com/routes-view.php?id=1793501 Derwent Edge - may need a bit of planning for a station : fetcheveryone.com/routes-view.php?id=1793502 Castleton & Mam Tor loop - also start can be adjusted to a station : fetcheveryone.com/routes-view.php?id=1793229 |

Cheers um! Looks like Edale is about 5 hours from ours so will need to factor that in on the Sunday for traveling back. |

Hello all. Well we have covered 81 miles of the West Highland Way since Monday. It’s been a week of highs and lows. Some days I didn’t think we’d make it, others I didn’t think we’d even start. The boy (age 16) has toughed it out and done himself proud. Another 15 tomorrow.
