I woke up far too early, this morning, so went for a 4:30am run. It was so dark and quiet and still and I hardly saw anyone at all. It was mild with a bit of breeze and I dodged the rain. Lovely

I didn't make it this morning so I'm going in a few minutes. I went to bed too late, then Mad Dog Jess woke us at 2am to bark at a shadow in the garden then Mr GM got up at 5am to go fishing. I was too tired so went back to sleep until 6:30am.

It was a struggle for me this morning, GM, I woke at 4, thought I wouldn’t be able to run so reset my alarm. 10 minutes later I was wide awake again so I got up and shuffled of in the dark. It was cooler and clearer so I was able to do a lovely bit of stargazing as I ran.

I was awake early enough to get out for a run before taking my Mum shopping this morning. Saw a hawk in flight in the first mile. I think it was a sparrowhawk. Beautiful!
