Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

My breast stroke is faster and more efficient than my front crawl - I can also swim it in a straight line, so prefer it in open water - but it doesn't do my dodgy knee any good at all :(

Long run fail today. Legs said no way. Who would have thought jet lag would appear in my quads!

email from the "Midnight sun marathon" organisers. Apparently it is possible to change from half marathon (which is what I'm registered for) to 10k. But I have to make up my mind by 27th May. As I haven't run anything remotely like half marathon distance since early March, and don't know when I'll be back to running any distance at all with The Knee, I might do that. There are pros and cons.

About This Thread

Maintained by iRan
Welcome to the 700 miles in 2016 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

bunting and 700er medals are often spotted around here.

Happy running :-)
