Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Thanks IanS - it was the two day version I was thinking of...(to start with), then possibly do the one day event in a year following, having done the recce. RichHL - who knows?! On the plus side, I've managed long distance cycling in the past, so I know I have the head for it. Kayaking is something I'd need to learn but how hard can that be?!:)

Hubby didn't seem overly thrilled at the prospect...though I can sell it to him that at least it's not the Comrades marathon. His reaction to that one was if I went, it would only if he were there and heavily armed!!! ;)

morning all

Mrs Jigs......hatfield forest is surprisingly no where near Hatfield, but it is a nice place, though i wont be able to make it as i need to be home by 10am

just to clarify re the garage door.....I told the man it was probably a fuse, he tuttted and shock his head and i watched while he tried a new fuse which fixed it. He tried to tell me how good a new unit would be but i said as this was the only problem we'd had in 12 years we'd stick with it for now. Im sure if i hadnt told him what i thought was wrong and then stood over him while he fixed it, he would have told me he needed to replace it, so Β£55 to change a fuse is expensive but i suspect he was planning on something a lot worse!!

ive runned and will be having a sports massage later

Can totally recommend the Comrades, Garfield, brilliant race, thoroughly enjoyed it even though I timed out and didn't reach the finish. No guns needed.

Take care Jono, Achilles probs are buggers to sort out. You too, Toks, you need your legs in fine fettle for your upcoming long, long run.

Nice little 4 mile pre-Lisbon leg loosener this morning, sunny but very breezy.

I did six miles easy and relaxed into the run so much I forgot I was running.

Devious little workman Doc.

Last nights run sees me stumbled over 100 for the month again.
