I like the one in the cubicles at my work toilets that says 'Please leave this cubicle in the state in which you found it' to which I always think, 'What? Covered in piss?'

these a variation of those signs, that say "...in the state you wish to find it." i knew a guy who always removed those signs from toilet walls because that's the way he wanted to find them!

In our toilet at work it says dont put paper towels down the chamber. Which confused me for a bit. Who calls a toilet a chamber?

At my former workplace: "This cupboard is not to be used for storage."
When I see a sign saying something like "please leave this facility in the state in which you'd like to find it" I want to comment that I don't have time to fit a new suite and re-tile, or to relocate it to Massachusetts.

We have a notice on a cupboard door in my workplace that says "Domestics Only". I sometimes wonder whether one of my former colleagues and his wife, who was our medicines manager, used to adjourn in there occasionally to have a punch-up.
