I had one of those moments when I met a motorhome on the narrow roads heading to the Gower in 2020. Unfortunately there wasn’t even room for fag paper :-O. Thankfully damage was a broken light (his) and a few scratches (mine). Although it was technically a ‘knock for knock’ he was so aggressive with me at the scene I offered to pay for the light. What he didn’t see was me pulling over a mile down the road and bursting into tears

We are currently sat here watching an ambulance, fast response and 2 fire engines, dealing with an issue with one of the caravans on site. Seems they are having issues getting the lady out of the caravan (damaged hips) and just hoping they don't have to cut the caravan to get her out |

We arrived at a quiet CL near Carlisle today, travelling up from Devon, and I picked OH up from Bristol airport on the way as she’s been in Netherlands. It is just us and one other at the CL, and it’s very pleasant and quiet here. We’ve a site booked near Cairnryan tomorrow as we’re catching the ferry over to Larne in Nothern Ireland on Thursday.

What a horrible experience for the lady, MM, all on view to the others on-site. Fingers crossed she’s ok and they don’t have to cut her out.

They have all left, thankfully they seem to have managed to get her out without damaging the caravan. Hope she is ok. Thankfully a small site, so although we could all see the lights etc, they had lots of privacy

MM, hopefully the lady will be ok. Not a nice experience on her holiday! We’ve arrived at a stunning place near Cairnryan, close to the ferry for tomorrow. It means we are only here for one night but it’s beautiful here. I saw on the news that ‘our’ ferry had a technical issue yesterday, which was a bit worrying. Apparently all is on track for tomorrow’s crossing though, so we’ll see! |

Lovely! We stopped off at a castle and there were nesting osprey, and there was also a peregrine falcon. The peregrine falcon was on top of the ruins of the castle and it was really brilliant to see it.
