Thomas was referred to CAHMS in Nov '14, seen in May '15, referred for an ADOS assessment on Sept '15 was finally assessed in early Feb '16 and our appt to discuss the results is for the end of April! I know he is not a priority but this is really taking the p***

We can't even get children on to the waiting list at CAHMS now because there are too many on the list... To be seen and diagnosed in less than 2 years is speedy for around here.

I can't understand why you have to go through CAMHS. Is that the norm elsewhere? Mind you our 'locality teams' aren't much quicker. Ironically I can be part of locality team but obviously not for my own child....
