Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Gosh Linds it sounds horrible.

I was beating myself up about ‘wimping out’ of my bike ride this morning. So I took the dog out to recce part of the route and I made absolutely the right decision.

Definitely a good decision HP!

Need to grill chicken and boil some eggs before I do the dishes. Have briskly walked and run/walked today, so I don't plan to do much else!

Did some outside work. Cleaned out the rabbit hutch, swept the patio and the drive, did some weeding and relocated a plant.

I haven’t run yet.

Linds sorry to hear that. That does sound scary.

I've been mistaken for a Russian prostitute once in Turkey but a bloke in the group I was travelling with soon put the fella straight.

It's bloody awful that so many of the women on the thread have our own stories to chip in just from going about our business.

Thanks all. I hadn't made the connection with the Northala Fields incident, LD - which is very worrying (the NF incident). I was about two miles away and would struggle to give a description as he was behind me for the entire incident. He came level with me when I was crying, and then dropped back. I thought he was being considerate as I was obviously upset, but actually he was just waiting until we were somewhere lonelier, I think, before approaching me.

Definitely a good decision, HP :)

I then decided to cross the road to where it's better lit and there are houses, but didn't realise how muddy and steep the verge was, so slid and slipped my way into the road. Luckily no cars were coming. It's comical now, but it wasn't at the time.

Mean, horrid actions, putting you in fear, LindsD. What about an alarm, or a whistle?

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
