I didn't love the Horniman today. Unsurprisingly, given the weather and the holiday, it was packed. Today, though, it was *so* busy that I couldn't hear anything Eli was saying unless I carried him and every other child seemed to be screaming.
I'm also getting fed with having to pay to see exhibits, and the aquarium. The queue for tickets was crazy (even if I'd wanted to pay) so we just ended up wandering around the stuffed animals and the skeletons. Then we got soaked waiting for the bus home.
And his favourite thing? The one we went back to again and again and again?

We played hide and seek in horniman garden once with aforementioned godchild when she was about 6. MrS snuck behind her while she was counting and when she did finally look behind her she jumped out her skin
Still in a car, 1.5 hrs till we stop for lunch. Every traffic stop my tummy panics

Home and in the bath. I did indeed survive the wind, rain and sleet. Wet feet running through puddles :-(. Refuelled in a Harveter's on chips and onion rings with a Diet Coke

We have lifts at work where you select the floor before you get in. It can be annoying but it stops the irritating people who dive in as the doors close as the lift might not be going to their floor
