My nose is like a tap all year round and I'd need a whole box of Kleenex on a long run so I launch snot rockets like a pro now and then follow up with a sleeve wipe. Cor I is a proper laydee!

It is indeed. Then you can choose a mile time from any runs you do within a week of the date, if that makes sense, just time yourself. Personally, I tend to do one of two things - either: I will go hell for leather for a mile thinking fast thoughts and use that time, or more often I will choose the fastest mile split from a longer run of maybe 3 miles, having realized halfway round that I am meant to be doing the SAP mile!

Once everyone has logged all their times for all three races in the month (or as many races as they wish) I will do a monthly round-up blog highlighting any PBs SBs etc. and do a podium placing - being the SAP club its the slowest who wins!

Do as many or as few as you like, if you've got a proper race to do then don't worry about a SAP one, but this can be a good way to check progress over the year.
