After a tough morning selling yarn in Dutch (mostly) and picking up my number and t-shirt (I guess I was feeling flush back when I signed up, but I'd completely forgotten about it), I'm just about to pop out for a very gentle few k in the ridiculous 27° heat. Thankfully tomorrow will be ever so slightly cooler (only 22°, probably) but with the added joy of high humidity and potential thunderstorms.

I reckon I'll still be on for a new pb (given that my only previous time from four years ago was 2:45, I'll be rather disappointed if not), but I won't be *too* upset if I don't quite make it under 2:30.

You never know, since the Sam has more or less abandoned his desire to go sub 2 for his post marathon half maybe he'll settle for pacing me and I'll end up doing better than I'd originally hoped.

Oh dear :-)

3.42 at 375 watts avg today for my hill climb. I then went and rode tomorrow's

295 watts just to climb it for 4 mins
