Morning, another 10+ mile run banked in very much TRO weather. It seems at the moment Thursday mornings is always a wet one in the Fens. Got back and it's already brightening up and the sun is out!

I'm still waiting on confirmation of details, but I can now exclusive reveal that my lanyard collection will be brought out of retirement next month, as I'll be starting a new job with the FCO in Brussels :D

I'm super excite. It's going to mean a lot of really big changes in... just about everything, really. For one thing there are, like, *hills* there. Not just landfill with patchy turf stuck on top, oh no, real, live, honest to goodness topography. And a cricket club that's looking for new female members.

The plan, to start with, is that I'll stay in the city during the week and come home to the tiny dutch village at the weekends, so lots of evenings with nothing to do but train and knit and talk the toot on here. In the longer term Him Indoors is looking for some sort of work he'd enjoy in the vicinity and we'd like to move there wholesale.

Great news Raemond. If that’s the British FCO you’re referring to, I did a couple of years with them 2012-2014.
