Thanks for info guys!
I love the 4% and don’t think you get judged as much at races compared to wearing the NEXT%!
Apparently they are “cheat shoes!”
Anyone think the Alphafly NEXT% will be released this year?

I'm pretty sure no one says the 4% are ok but the NEXT% are. If one is cheat shoes then so is the other.

Anyone tried the new Brooks Hyperion Elite?
Contender to Nike’s throne?

I think the 4% are less recognisable. The Next % are pretty in your face big and just look like the offer something that no other show does. The Hyperion apparently only last about 50 miles so that fairly off putting for a £210 shoe

Tizer - shoe life is interesting
I remember the nike mayfly - no more than 10km shoe, supposed to last 100km but people used them in marathons and all sorts
I have a 500 mile plus pair of 4% but killed the Radcliffe marathon shoe in 260 miles

I destroy the outside front edge of mine. The 4% maybe lasted me 250 odd miles. I've not used the Next% outside yet, only on the TM, so expect more miles out of them. I've got that half price trainer thing through Vitality on saw the Brooks on there. I'd probably try them for just over £100 but would prefer to give the Asics Metaracer a go
