Nat West are also offering a very decent savings rate to existing customers for fixed term of 5.51%, not market leading as there are still a few about at 6%ish but decent if you want an established bank offer. Our five year fix is at 4.65 for comparison, only created in April π but still way better than could be got last year. |

Thanks, all. The ISA is set aside as my "hip fund" so has enough to cover private treatment if my hip needs redoing at any point. [Although we have dipped into it occasionally to cover a special treat holiday in the past, but always returned the money to the pot at a later date. ππ]
