Great Mrs J! TR I feel like being ill is being in training for retirement. I just said to my sister that it has taken 6 months of actually being physically unable to do anything to switch off that nagging voice of needing to be productive! We are so conditioned! |

That's one thing I need to do too Mrs Jigs! I managed to get away without much work clothes - could wear tshirts and cardigans for the most parts, along with a smart jacket when I needed to look more professional...

I rationalised my work clothes and realised I never had to buy anything smart ever again. Only time I wore one of my smart suits was for mum's funeral and friend's funerals... Best thing was pulling apart work suits getting rid of uncomfortable skirts, then wear the jacket with jeans and a comfy top. Very satisfying! |

Nae idea what thread to put this post on, but my wife’s boss went to a meeting today instead of saying she was talking her kid to its first day of school. Reminded me of this. |

Very sad, Ally-C. (Pleased to say my company will give you the time off for a child starting school!)

She could’ve changed the meeting or went to the school, she just opted to be a snivelling, brown noser.
