Especially as they know first hand what’s is actually like to be told they have cancer. Sorry but that is the lowest of the low.

Now I’m only covering for holidays at work my legs don’t like holding me up for a 6hr shift. They ached like mad last night/this morning and I couldn’t get to sleep.

When I was nursing I’d be on my feet for 12hr shifts. (Retired 7 years ago). I really feel for those nurses who can’t afford to retire and have to continue working until they are 66/67.

That's my weekend reading sorted!

Can't fault the service received from my company, unlike my OH's! 😡
Been waiting over a month for a final statement to start drawing on his work pension. He phoned to chase yesterday and was told person dealing with it was working from home that day and might not be able to return his call! WTF!!

We have have been managing on our state pensions for the past two years but finding it impossible now ☹️

It's all been discussed on phonecalls EP and this is just really all the documents to sign and return with birth certificates etc.
I've always known it wouldn't be a huge pension as I only started paying into it in my late 40s but pretty satisfied with the figures I've been quoted and added to the much larger pension from OH we should be OK.
