Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

The Scribbler
Off the marks today with just over a mile in the pool this evening, working on a bit of speed.

Will get off mark tomorrow night.

Going to try 16x100m off 2:20. Should be a bit quicker than that, but I'm all about focussing on technique and stroke rate before speed at the moment. Aim is to get under 30mins for 1500m by next March (i.e. 6months time). Thus the challenge will be good to make me go twice a week!

Might even drop it to 2:30 to make sure it's comfortable.

If all feels good, then I might add another few 100m sets to make it up to 2km.

the value of the cross training depends on the length (of TIME) so surely we should just call it HITT instead ;-)

2.15km (1.34 miles) at last night's masters session. Far too much of it was kick drills, which should count double because I despise kick drills!
