Harder to do multiple Corbetts in a day, can be less accessible too.

My trip to the Rough Bounds is still memorable after 36 years.
And I'll submit Streap as another magnificent Corbett.

When I did Sgurr Mor & the Corbett we went in by mountain bikes from the Kinloch Hourn road through all sorts of forestry tracks. It was brutal😂

Just back from the west coast. Think I’ll save that program for another time.

I just checked, "the Corbett" is Sgurr an Fhuarain I was going to run on to Meall a' Choire Bhuide, but dropped down into Coire Glas and then East until I picked up the estate track. The bothy at Kinbreak was surprisingly well stocked, people are generous. I left some spare bars and moved on. I do like the bothy ethos.

p.s. the midges weren't too bad in the Cairngorms either. Fecking brutal in Glen Nevis.

Not seen a midge on the Moray Coast this year even on evening runs in the woods.

Fort William (Bunree) the midge levels were annoying early last week. Assynt was fine - but I was at the coast/ beach.
