Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I wondered the same Fleecy :-)

Mine are outside and I think the fact that they are much shorter than Em's is doing them a favour - so far they have survived the wind.

Mine were a bit bedraggled yesterday so I put them back inside the greenhouse until it stops raining. It's still raining now so I think I made the right call

Do you think I should dig mine up and bring them back inside?

I don't have a green house, otherwise I think I would have left them in there 😞

The sunflower field that brightened up a country lane near us last year is full of little seedlings, presumably self-sown since the sunflowers were left to rot over the winter and have only just been cut down. Hoping for another display :)

A farmer in the next village has said that they have planted 3 acres of sunflowers in the fields surrounding the windmill - I can't wait to see that :-) I may have even mentioned it before on this thread - but I'm still excited to see it!

So the very cute baby bunnies have been nibbling... They've killed 2 sunflowers and nibbled another, not sure if it will survive 😢

So this is what we came up with this evening as a quick aren't at protecting them till I can do something more...

Not the prettiest, but colourful at least!
