I'm majoring in diplomacy there, NE 'Angels' aired from 1975 on the BBC and was required viewing, as my sister had just qualified as SRN. Wiki describes it as 'the Z-Cars of nursing' and characters undertook 'live' experience on a hospital ward to improve authenticity. Launched a few heavyweight acting careers, too. en.wikipedia.org |

Evening all - some great songs there. I had a brilliant afternoon in a bar overlooking the sea with one of the best soul lists I’ve heard in a long time! In no particular order they included: Bill Withers - Harlem Bill Withers - Kissing My Love Marvin Gaye - What’s Going On Curtis Mayfield - Pusherman (from the Superfly album) Curtis Mayfield - Move on Up Otis Redding - Dock of the Bay Fontella Bass - Rescue Me How great is that lot! |
