Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Slight setback to contend with as I have woken up with a cold :( - but I shall battle it out to 100 as my symptoms are definitely neck up only!

Well done AL & others for reaching target. I think I will settle for 90/100 this month - definitely not going to attempt a 10 miler today. Double-header parkrun for me tomorrow to look forward to. :)

December is always my bugbear for 100 miles a month. I made it last year and 2015 was looking ok (11/12 months with 100 miles hit), until things got busy during the run-up to Christmas, and then I got ill...

So last Saturday, I realised that I had only 50 logged for all of December, with 6 days left for the month. Uh-oh.

The head-torch batteries have taken a hammering, but six miles on Saturday has been followed by ten miles for the last four days - it's been hard work making the time for that and my legs are complaining too.

Now looking at 97 miles for the month and knowing that I will be getting out after lunch. Quite sure I'd never have done this without having a 100 a month target to aim for.

go for it Andy! Have done my last for the year and finished with 108. Did a check on the number of hours running after reading someone else's hours here...221 .5 hours. Overall an average pace of only (about) 10.50 per mile. If I was able to run faster (which I can't!!) and average say 8 minute miling (like loads of the Fetchies) I would put in an hour less running per week--or to put it into "days run" I could take an extra rest day! Well run everyone who is clocking the 100!
